Clinton Courier Sept. 14, 1972 Mrs. Brashears Rites Held Here Mrs. Alta Tucker Brashears, 50, a former resident of Briceville died Saturday in Pine Village, Ind. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Laurel Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Miles Jr. officiating. She leaves her husband, Edward Brashears of Indiana, two sons, Eddie Brashears of Fowler, Ind. and Terry Brashears of the Army in Korea, two daughters, Connie and Becky Brashears, both of Pine Village, a brother, Frank Tucker of Oliver Springs, a half-brother, Lawrence Seiber of New Madison, O., two sisters, Mrs. Christina Cook of Indiana and Mrs. Velma Hooks of Oliver Springs and one grandchild.
