Clinton Courier Sept. 4, 1996 Lillian Goans Aug. 31, 1996 Lillian Webb Goans, 80, of Clinton passed away Saturday in Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Member of Clinton Second Baptist Church. Daughter of late Z.T. Duncan and Minnie Dabney Duncan. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Goans. Survivors:daughters, Bonnie and husband Andy Davis of Clinton, Linda and husband Everette Benedict of Atlanta, and Carolyn and husband Jim Wright of El Paso, Texas.,sons, Hal and wife Margaret Goans of Oak Ridge, Paul and Christine Goans of Atlanta, right grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Family received friends 7-6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept.2, in Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services were held 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept.2, in Holley-Gamble Chapel with the Rev.Gary Swaggert and Rev. George Williams officiating. Interment was 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Sept.3, in McCarty Woodhaven Memorial Garden.
