Clinton Courier May 3, 1945 Joe Teno Joe Teno,. 70, prominent citizen of the Briceville community died at his home there at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Although he had been in ill health for sometime his death was unexpected. A member of the First Baptist Church for 45 years he had been an active member and a deacon for many years. He was a long time member of the Masonic Order. Survivors his wife, Mrs. Verdie O'Dell Teno, two sons, Doyle Of Clinton Rt.2 and Floyd in the Army overseas. two daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Queener,Clinton Rt.2, and Mrs. Georgia Robinson, Briceville, two step-children, Claud Teno and Mrs. Delsie Kesterson, Briceville, two brothers, Jesse Teno of Morristown and John Teno of North Carolina, and seven grandchildren. Plans for funeral services had not been completed Wednesday Martin of Lake City was in charge.
