Clinton Courier Sept.21, 1972 Eugene Jobe, Retired Miner Of Lake City Dies Eugene Jobe, 71, a retired miner of Pine Hill Community on Lake City Rt.2, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Hospital. A member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church and The U.M.W. of A. Jobe is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Jones Jobe, three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Jean Dudley of Des Moines, Iowa., Mrs. Gladys Ruth Hembree of Lake City Rt.2, and Linda Sue Lowe of Lake City, two sons, Sonny Reece Jobe of Lake City and Jimmy Jobe of Lake City Rt.2, a sister, Bonnie Johnson of Lake City Rt.2, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Pine Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Seeber and the Rev. Charles Harness officiating. Burial will be in Leach Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Cox Funeral Home.
