Clinton Courier June 28, 1989 Ruby M. Jones Funeral services were held for Ruby Miller Jones, 66, of Lake City, on Saturday morning at Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Copeland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Jones was a former resident of Clinton Towers and Lake City Health Care Center. She died June 21 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was an employee Magnet Mills for 14 years. Her husbands, Elmer Miller and Johnny Fred Jones, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Gladys Loy of Clinton, Bessie Cox of Powell, Margaret Jackson of Lake City, a son, John T. Miller of Clinton, 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Ella Braden of Clinton, and a brother, John L. Smith Jr. of Clinton.
