Survivors: son; Denny Hooks and wife, Nita of Mossy Grove; daughters, Brenda Martin and husband, Ted of Marlow, Doris Miles and husband, Buddy of Briceville, Judy Lawson and husband, William of Oliver Springs, Pam Birchfield and husband, Randall of Oliver Springs, Donna King and husband, David of Oliver Springs; brother in law, Buck Cook, a resident of Indiana; sixteen grandchildren, three of which are considered special, Kim Aslinger Johnson, Melissa Aslinger Lane, and Angel Aslinger; 31 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family received friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral service followed at 8 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev Ralph Wilson and the Rev Don Pride officiating.
