Mrs Nation was the daughter of Alec and Haley Russell. She was self employed for many years as a housekeeper and enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and fishing. She was a member of Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons; G M Phillips of Clinton, Kyle Nation of Clinton, and Fred Nation of Oak Ridge; three daughters, Wilma Jean Williams of Norris, Margie Wilder of Oliver Springs, and Maudie Miller of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Alfred Russell and Oxie Russell of Caryville; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 AM Thursday, Aug 23rd at the Clinton Funeral Home chapel. The Rev Bedford Bullock will be officiating. Burial will be in Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
