Mrs Viles was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City, the Order of the Eastern Star F&AM No 226, and a longtime member of the Democratic Party. Survivors include five children; Patricia Kerrigan of Nashville, Billy, Buddy, and Danny Viles of Lake City, and Brenda Goodman of Lake City; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs Elizabeth Tudor of Knoxville. Funeral services were held Monday in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev David Lord and the Rev Wayne Hubbs officiating. Burial was Tuesday at Leach Cemetery.
