His name was listed as Kim Tallent. I found Kim's Social Security Death Index entry. His name was listed as Kim Wallace. So the surname mystery certainly seems to continue into the next generation. As an aside, Kim's birth date was listed as 8 Jul 1897 on both his WWI draft card and on has SSDI entry. His WWI draft card says he was born in Concord, Knox County, Tennessee. Dist. 10 (as in the 1900 census entry for the family) included Concord. Many Anderson County families seem to have moved to Concord if they moved to Knox County. Jerry Bryan
