She was preceded in death by her parents Sherley Honeycutt Sr. and Edna Honeycutt of LaFollette; sister, Dorothy Millet, and brother, Sherley Honeycutt Jr. She is survived by, the love of her life, her five sons: Barry Brown and his wife Cindy (children Austin and Addison), Jeff Brown and his wife April (son Corey), Derek Brown and his wife Sarah (children Cash, Alyssa, and Elijah), Jamie Brown, and Kevin Brown and his wife Christie (children Nicholas, Noah, and Hannah); sisters, Thelma Posey and husband Curtis, Nettie Hill and husband Edward, Margie Watkins, Emma Sue Young and husband Rick, Sherrie Forbus and husband Randy and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held July 10 in the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Morgan officiating. Interment was in the Jellico Cemetery. LaFollette Press July 12, 2007 Oscar Bullock, age 68 of Stoney Fork Rd., Caryville passed away July 6 at the home of his daughter, Dora Wiegand in Knoxville. He was a very loving father that loved his family, had a good sense of humor; he loved to play jokes on people and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He enjoyed spending time and playing with his dog Bo. He loved to fish, ride his four wheeler and collecting trains. He had just recently received Christ as his savior. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Lois Bullock; parents, Fisher and Martha Mcghee Bullock; brothers, Hobert, Ulis, Clarence, Otis and Ellis Bullock; sister, Carrie McKamey. He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Marvin and Rosa Bullock of Caryville, David and Pricilla Bullock of Union County, Dwight and Renee Bullock of Lake City; daughters and sons in law, Tammy and Roger Lindsay of Lake City, Rebecca and Charles Wood, Dora and Peter Wiegand all of Knoxville and Sandra Bullock of Louisville, TN; sisters, Flora Bullock and Elsie Kingsley both of Caryville; 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Douglas, age 84 went home to be with his heavenly Father on July 6 at his home in Elk Valley. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Douglas; mother, Pearl McDougal Douglas; brother, Quentin Douglas. He is survived by his wife, Bessie Perkins Douglas; brother, Claude Douglas and wife, Elsie of OH; nieces, Carol Harris of OK, Claudia Lawwill, Connie Golf and Cheri Kneeler, all of OH; special niece, Alice Norman of Elk Valley; special nephew, Harold Brooks of Elk Valley. He was born May 31, 1958 in Anderson County to the late William Doyle and Frankie Boyd Duff. He enjoyed talking and spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of the Longfield Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Lois Jane Odom. He is survived by his sisters, Ginger Carrion of Lake City, Bonnie Dankowski of Lake City; niece, Samantha Carrion; nephews, Nathan Shepherd and Aaron Dankowski; fiancé, Kim Campbell; step children, Brittany Brown and Wesley Powers; step grandchildren, Jonathan and Jordan Brown; several other relatives and many friends. LaFollette Press July 12, 2007 Joseph Manuel Duncan, age 79, of Oak Ridge formerly of Lake City, passed away July 5 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born Feb. 12, 1928 in Kentucky to the late Clyde and Ada Hutchison Duncan. He was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with flowers and going to church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Auther, Elmer, Donald, Jimmy Joe, Delmar, and Harvel Gene Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Duncan of Oak Ridge; daughters, Marilyn Sue Willis and husband, James of Beech Grove, Sandy Willis of Beech Grove; step children, Sherry Hutchinson and husband, Bryson of Andersonville, Robert Phillips and wife, Cathleen of Beech Grove; sisters, Brenda Wilson and husband, Lowell of Lake City, Nancy Kay Carden and husband, Bruce of Caryville; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Fuson; daughters, Mary and Rachel. He was a Korean War Veteran, retired Mechanical Engineer, a longtime American Red Cross Volunteer, and a born again Christian. He is survived by his wife, Gerri Hanley of Caryville; sons, Mark Hanley and wife, Corbyn, of MI, and Marty Hanley of MI, John Hanley of Idaho, Matt Hanley of Washington State; daughter, Amy Nostrant and husband, Dennis of GA; 3 stepchildren; 11 grandchildren; brother, Richard Hanley of MI; sisters, Jacqueline Price and Gail Miller both of MI. She was preceded in death by husbands Marion Trammell and Johnny Harrison; son, Wilbert Clayton Trammell; great-grand-daughter, Alisha Trammell; parents, William and Emily Loudermilk Silcox; sisters, Venie Silcox Wells, Lillian Silcox Lay and Sally Silcox Lay. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Orlando, Fla. She attended the University of Tennessee and was a Campbell County School Teacher for 25 years. Former president of the Rose Society in Knoxville and Charter member of the Citrus Club in Orlando, Fla. She was very active in the O.E.S. and Republican Party. She was preceded in death by son, Charles Grover Heatherly; husbands, Charles H. (Charlie) Heatherly and Ralph Kemp; parents, John L. and Laura Murphy Shoun; sisters, Flora Heatherly, Sarah Heatherly, Elva Morton, Edna Stephens, Irene Robinette, Verla Stephens, Vivian Potter, Sylvia Hagerdorn, and Christine Begley. Lyke on Sept. 23, 1933. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ernie Lyke; daughter, Irene Hughes; three brothers and six sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband; children, Patsy Ann Wilson and Sherman William Mowery; grandchildren, Delilia Spring Wilson and Jerry Travis Mowery; great grandchild, Tailey Faith Thackerson; daughter in law, Sue Mowery; parents; step mother, Stella Harness Simmons; brothers, Ernest Pendergrass, Eugene and Clint Simmons; sister, Walda Simmons; half-sister, Joyce Simmons. She retired from General Motors, Inland Division in 1981. She was originally from LaFollette, was one of 11 children born to William and Kizzy Nelson. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Reba Morton and Nellie Miller; brothers, Ira and Charles Nelson. She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws, Phillip and Beth Jones of Troy, OH, Gary and Brenda Meadows of Alexandria, VA, David and Lisa Rhoden of Dayton, OH; daughter, Mabel Phillips of Mount Pleasant, SC, daughter and son in law, Vicki and Dan Downing of Kettering, OH; sisters, Willie Davenport, Faye Gray, Dean Brison and Betty Haley; brother, Floyd Nelson; nephew, Jimmy Nelson.
