From the Oak ridger 14 Dec 2004 Olaf Linden Daugherty, 68, of Oliver Springs, Georgia Brewster Tomlinson, 92, of St. Louis, Mo., Olaf Linden Daugherty, 68, of Oliver Springs, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at his home. Mr. Daugherty was born Feb. 23, 1936, in Norma. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Daisy Bowling Daugherty; a brother, Wendell Daugherty; and by a sister, Ernestine Daugherty. Daugherty was a retired construction worker and a member of Kellytown Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Helen Taylor Daugherty of Oliver Springs; daughters Cindy Brown and husband Michael of Oliver Springs, Anna Tedder and husband Terry of Harriman; brother Larry Daugherty and wife Janice of Oliver Springs; son Ryan of Oliver Springs; sister Christine Hatfield of Kingston, and special friend and fishing buddy Robert McCannely of Oak Ridge. Daugherty was also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members and special friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home with the funeral services following at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Mack Smith officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangement. Georgia Brewster Tomlinson, 92, of St. Louis, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Brooking Park Nursing Home in Chesterfield, Mo. She was born in Minnith, Mo., to parents George and Rosa Brewster. She enjoyed reading, playing bridge, keeping up with current events, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tomlinson was preceded in death by her husband, William Loren Tomlinson, and brother Douglas Brewster. Mrs. Tomlinson is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Alma and Alan VanHull of Oak Ridge, and Bette and Robert Goodson of St. Louis, Mo.; her granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Andrea and Ray Moore of Dallas, Texas, and Alicia and Jarrod Williamson of Lenoir City; her grandson, Tony Goodson of St. Louis; and her great-grandson, Evan Moore of Dallas.
