Mrs. Harriet Herrel Harriet Adeline Sharp, daughter of Elvin and Margaret Sharp, was born Feb. 14, 1864, near Knoxville,Tenn., and died March 19, 1934, at 1216 H St., at the age of 70. On Dec. 11, 1881, she married William Riley Herrel at Lost Creek, Tenn. To them were born ten children, eight of whom are living, two having died in infancy. Those surviving are Cora L. Herrel and Mrs. Mae Littleton of Hastings, Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Everett, Wash., Mrs. Elsie Parland of Iowa Falls, la., John C. Herrel, Richard Herrel and Mrs. Bessie Morgan, all of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Josephine Martin of Lincoln. There are seven grandchildren and four brothers. Shortly after her marriage the family moved to Illinois and later to Iowa. After the death of her husband, Nov. 5, 1922, she moved to St. Paul, Minn., and lived there until nine years ago. Since 1923 she had been living with daughters in Hastings and Lincoln. Mrs. Herrell was a member of Park Baptist Church, St. Paul, Minn. Funeral services were held at Castle, Roper & Matthews March 22, Rev. Walter Aiken officiating. Internment in Lincoln Memorial Park. Lincoln Star, Lincoln, Nebraska, April 1, 1934
