    3. Hello list: It's rare that I post to the Anderson County list but I have a couple of questions someone on this list might be able to answer. Does anyone know of a R. M. Edwards Undertaker at Coal Creek TN about 1912? I have an invoice from him for a casket. Invoice paid by Ed Hawkins. Also a receipt from L. D. Sharp, General Merchandise, Coal Creek TN. Dated 1921. Another from Sam Watts & Co Coal Creek. A few other old receipts, ect concerning Ed Hawkins. Also a post card picture of a child, evidently signed by " LEOVELLE"? addressed to Mrs. Lucy Hawkins, Coal Creek Tenn. Last would someone have any info on a murder that might have occurred in Anderson County about August 1965? I would appreciate any info concerning the above items. THANKS, Gerald Lay MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! The Edwards House, P.M. Edwards Proprietor (Coal Creek, Tenn.), directly opposite R.R. Depot. Not the largest hotel in the berg. Not newly furnished throughout. No free bus to trains. Not the best grub the market affords. But simply clean beds and something good to eat. Toothpicks and ice water thrown in. Try Us! Pay Up! And if not satisfied keep mum. Our city is composed mostly of hogs, diggers, merchants and lawyers, named in the order of their importance. Good crosstie walks on all the principal thoroughfares." Bucks County Gazette, Bristol, Penn., Dec 9, 1897 Not sure where the Jellico and Kentucky part fits in.... ==== TNANDERS Mailing List ==== Please do not write your message with CAPS on.
