Death Takes Rev. S. H. Disney, 81, Retired Minister Rev. Samuel H. Disney, 81, retired minister, died early today at the home of his son, Owen Disney in Muddy, he had been in failing health for seven years and had been seriously ill for three weeks with complications. Mr. Disney was born in Tennessee, April 18, 1869, the son of Elisha and Nancy Andrews Disney. He came to Saline county from Beach Grove. Tenn., and has since made his home in Muddy. He has been a Baptist minister for 42 years. Besides his son. Owen, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Disney, a son, Earl Disney, Whiting, Ind., a dauhter, Mrs. Dan Powell, Detroit, 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A son, Pola, was killed in a mine accident in 1939 and a daughter, Mrs. Marvel Stoval, died in 1929. Funeral services will be held at the Muddy Baptist church of which he was a member. Definite arrangements have not been announced. The body, received by the Harrisburg funeral home, has been returned to the Disney residence to lie in state. I have no connection to the Disney family.. However I knew personally a Grace Disney who married a W.W. Campbell. They lived in Middlesboro, KY. in the 1945 and late 1950's. She has connection also to "THE" Walt Disney.. Think they were Cousins. Kay Adams. Middlesboro, KY
