From The Knoxville News Sentinel 25 Jan 2005 HONEYCUTT, MRS. EFFIE LEE SMITH - age 82 of Oakdale, HUMAN, CHARLES C. - age 76 of Wartburg, HONEYCUTT, MRS. EFFIE LEE SMITH - age 82 of Oakdale, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at the Roane Medical Center. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 62 years, William Clay Honeycutt; parents, Baalam Davis Smith and Maggie Jones Smith; brothers, Clinton and B.D. Smith; sister, Thelma Smith. Survivors: sons, Rodney A. Honeycutt and Wendell E. Honeycutt, both of Chattanooga; daughter, Lou Ann Voyles, of Oakdale; grandchildren, Kellye Cavett of Orlando, Fl., Jeff Honeycutt of Chattanooga, Shannon Honeycutt Smith, of Stone Mt., Ga., Angie Jackson, of Oakdale and Jennifer Voyles, of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Christopher and Amanda Cavett, Abigail and Clay Honeycutt, Emma and Owen Jackson, and Ella Grace Smith; and several nieces and nephews; and dear friend Arminta Graham, of Harriman. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Wartburg, with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Kelly officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. Piney Cemetery, Oakdale. HUMAN, CHARLES C. - age 76 of Wartburg, went to be with his Lord on January 23, 2005 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a charter member of the Star of Hope Chapel in Wartburg. He was preceded in death by: his father and mother, Elmer and Effie Human; and two sisters, Katherine Hardwick and Evangeline Williams. He is survived by: wife of 55 years, Lueadia (Armes) Human; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ray Lloyd; brothers and sisters- in-law, Sonny and Velma, Howard and Glenna, David and Mary and Clayton, all of Lancing, TN, and Lawrence of Dayton, Ohio. Also surviving are: 19 nieces and 18 nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 25, 2005 from 6-8 pm at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Darrel Daugherty and Bro. David Barkley officiating.
