Jerry: I guess that makes us kin. My ggrandmother was Elizabeth Jane Bray b. 1838. Her father was Joseph H. Bray b. 1809 and Joseph was brother to Edward Payne Bray. And, my grandfather was named Edward Payne Daugherty. Don't know where New River Road is but the whole area is called New River. I have a map of Anderson County that lists part of HIGHWAY 116 as New River Hwy. It runs from fork Mountain through Moores Camp and Braytown to Rosedale. You know, along Fork Mountain and Daugherty Ridge between Patterson and Buffalo Mountain. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jerry Bryan<mailto:c24m48@hotmail.com> To: TNANDERS-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:TNANDERS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2005 1:02 PM Subject: RE: [TNANDERS-L] May 2004 Obit: Dayton >Crossville Chronicle >Published May 2004 > >Bessie K.
