Jo, I'm not seaching Elkins but I had a book of anderson co., beside me so I looked in the index and found an article on J. Leon Elkins . He was born in rural anderson co.,26, Aug. 1905 near the present town of Norris. He was the son of J. Harvey Elkins and Sarah Carden. He was an attorney and he married Maude Massengill daughter of Ben Massingill. He died 4, Sept. 1975. Hope this rings a bell. Phyllis
