In doing the newspaper searches, many instances state Oliver Springs, Tenn., but no county. Is there any way to figure out if the Oliver Springs mentioned is in Roane, Anderson or Morgan?

I encounter this issue all the time. I think the short answer is "no", unless additional clues are available. What I don't know (and would be curious about) is if there was a time when Oliver Springs was only in two countes, or maybe even only in one county. Jerry Bryan
