John and Jeremy, I also have a Cox line in my Mother's Family that I don't know much about. My Mother's GGGrandmother was Lydia Cox, born 1830 in Rush, IN. She married William Perry Henderson in Iowa. I believe she married a "Wiley" before him. It is a possibility her parents were Abner Cox and Susanna Johnston. But this is guess work. I do not know where the Cox family came before IN but I do know that the Henderson family came from KY, to TN to IL then IA and further west. Walter married Mary M. Slover a daughter of John Calvin Slover and Louisa Hicks. Samuel Roberts Married I don't know who. "Liza" was a daughter of Westley Roberts.
