Thanks Millie, I had seen that too and I've been told wife of John W. Key is "Elizabeth" was an Alred but she was born in Va. in both the 1840 & 1850 census and she was born abt 1802. If this is Matilda's mother then her maiden name is not "Early". Right now I've been spending the whole week on the Key's, & maybe I don't see the trees because of the forrest . I keep screaming like Ronald Regan " BREAK DOWN THIS WALL" (Smile ) Is it ok for me to write a story I found in a book on the Seivers in hopes someone knows the ending ?
