Clinton Courier July 1988 Beatrice Lowe Dies At 82, Formerly Of Oliver Springs Beatrice B. Lowe, 82, of 1911 Nandina Drive,Knoxville, originally from Oliver Springs,died July 10 ay St.Mary's Medical Center of Knoxville of a heart attack. Lowe is the daughter of the late Jake and Laura Brummette of Oliver Springs. She lived in Humboldt,Kan. during the 1920's but has lived in Knoxville for approximatley 60 years. She was married to the late Rev.Phillip H. Lowe for almost 50 years. Lowe attended First Apostolic Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and reading,her family said.She is survived by a son, Charles Lowe of Knoxville, a daughter, Glynda Clevenger, Of Morgan City,La., two granddaughters, Teri Webb of Knoxville and Laura Pettit of Sumter,S.C., a great-grandson, Philip Pettit and three sisters, Ossie Crass of Oliver Springs,Opal Walker of Knoxville and Ursula McKeel of Roanoke,Va. The funeral was held July 13 at First Apostolic Church on Pleasant Ridge Road,Knoxville, with the Rev. Bill McCool officiating. The interment was held at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville. Mynatt's Funeral Home was in charge.
