    2. >From The Oak Ridger 17 Sep 2007 Louis George "LG" Hill, age 70, a resident of Harriman, Alma Ruth Williams, 66, of Oak Ridge, Howard B. Crotinger, 90, of Oak Ridge, Louis George "LG" Hill, age 70, a resident of Harriman, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at his home. Mr. Hill was born March 11, 1937, in Spring City, Tenn. He and his family moved to Roane County in 1967. LG was a Christian of the Baptist faith. He worked as a self-employed contractor. The greatest passion in his life was his family and especially his children. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lynn Hill; by his parents, Robert E. Hill and Imogene Davis Hill; and by three brothers, Bob, Bill, and Richard Hill. He is survived by his daughters, Diane Louise Lee and husband, Randy, of Limestone, Tenn., Kelley Campbell and husband, Randy, of Oliver Springs, and Sheila Hill of Limestone, Tenn.; sons, Louie Ricky Hill and wife, Ruth Ann, of Marion, Ohio, Terry Hill and wife, Sasha, of Harriman, and Josh Hill of Harriman; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred Ray Hill of Kingston, Jackie Hill of Oakdale, Harvey "Spunky" Hill of Oakdale, Otis Hill of Fayetteville, Ga., Jimmy Hill of Knoxville, and Timmy Hill of Crossville, Tenn.; sisters, Agnes Lewis of Crossville, Elizabeth Burnett of Harriman, Velma Human of Lancing, Maryada Newberry of Harriman, and Patricia Summers of Oak Ridge. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, special friends and extended family members. The family received friends Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral followed in the funeral home chapel at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Neil Crass officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Piney Cemetery in Oakdale, Tenn. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. An online register book is available for Mr. Hill at www.sharpfh.com. Alma Ruth Williams, 66, of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at the Methodist Medical Center. She was born Jan. 4, 1941 in Harlan County, Ky., the daughter of Wymer C. and Maymie Reynolds Carter. Mrs. Williams retired from Quincy's Steakhouse, where she was breakfast manager. She is survived by: her husband of 40 years, Robert Charles Williams; sons, Lee Alan Williams of Wartburg, Avery Paul Williams of Oak Ridge and David Wayne Williams of Cleveland; brother, Paul E. Carter and wife, Peggy, of Knoxville; sister, Cora Braden of Oak Ridge; and grandson, Dakota Wayne Williams of Cleveland. Graveside services will be held on Monday, Sept. 1, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Joe Bridges officiating. Weatherford Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
