Neal Laura Byrge Bunch of Coalfield will celebrate her 104th Birthday on March 19th.  She is the wife of the late Walter Bunch of Devonia.  They were married in 1917 until his death in August 1965.  They had ten children and raised nine of them into adulthood.  She has two late sons.  Norman Bunch of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on May 2, 1978.  Reafus Bunch of the Stephens Community in Morgan County passed away just last month on February 27, 2005. Her picture being used is of a red rose bouquet given to her by her son Reafus and his precious wife Omer on last year's birthday celebration.  We wanted to use this picture in honor of them.  Reafus is greatly missed by his  family.    She moved to Detroit when Walter found work in the automotive plant with their three young children (Effie, Esther, and Stella).  Then when layoffs came, the family moved back to Tennessee where Walter worked in the coal mines of Devonia.  The pattern repeated itself and their 4th child (Norman) and their 10th child (Freida) were born in Detroit.  All their other children were born in the beautiful Tennessee mountains.     Her living children are Effie Ward and Esther Hamby Byrge of Oliver Springs, Stella Kennedy of Lake City, Cledyth Bunch of Devonia, Carlas Bunch of Kingston, Margaret Leach of Oak Ridge, and Freida Bunch of Coalfield.  She has 37 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, 42 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great granddaughter Jayla of Toledo, Ohio.  She is a living mother of six generations of precious children!   She is proud that one of her great grandsons is serving his country as a United States Marine, PFC Brandon K. Bunch. We pray for him and his fellow servicemen.   Laura contributes her long life to loving the Lord Jesus Chirst and that she has always tried to be good to others.  She is wished a Happy Birthday by her friends and family and many more Happy Days to Come! =========================================== SUPPORT OUR TROOPS---FLY THE FLAG "Genealogy is like playing hide and seek.
