She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bruce; parents, Levi and Myrtle Perkins Dotson; brother, Delmer Dotson; sisters, Opal Baird, Ruth Hickman and Ailleen Dotson. She is survived by her sons, Larry Dennis Bruce of Loveland, OH and John Earl Bruce of Cincinnati, OH; daughters, Judith Ann Stungill of Cincinnatti, OH and Lynda Lou Konrad of Loveland, OH; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brothers, Fred Dotson of FL, Glen Dotson of FL, Ray Dotson of Vandalia, OH and Eddie Dotson of Vandalia, OH; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Clarence Eugene Crumpley, age 81 of Clinton passed away March 4 at his residence. He was born Nov. 16, 1923 in Anderson County to the late Stephen and Frankie Long Crumpley. He was a member of the South Clinton Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Eula Crumpley of Clinton; sons, Warren Crumpley and wife, Lisa of Andersonville, Stephen Crumpley and wife, Janice of Clinton, Donald Crumpley of Clinton and Allen Crumpley of Clinton, daughter, Lisa Maner of Clinton; sister, Vera Bunch of Clinton; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from General Motors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Thurman Dykes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. She was the beloved wife of the late Jesse; loving mother of Michael (Linda) Mullins and the late Rebecca Mullins; beloved daughter of the late Marie and George Gilmore; proud grandmother of Heather, Luke, Sarah and the late B.J. Mullins; dear sister of George (Shelia) Gilmore, Patricia (Fred) Sochowicz and the late Margaret (Tom) McNee; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in her honor at Victory Baptist Church on March 12 at 2 p.m. Billy Ray Vowell, age 63 of Norris, formerly of Lake City passed away March 4 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born Sept. 25, 1941 in Anderson County to the late William Henry and Texie Ann Jarmon Vowell. He was of the Baptist faith. He had a great love for airplanes and was a U.S. Air Fo rce Veteran. He was retired from the Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson. He was a member of the Eagles Club. He was retired from driving an 18 wheeler truck all over the country, and he enjoyed playing cards. He is survived by his special companion of 20 years, Anna R. Byrge of Norris; brother, Harry Vowell and wife, Barbara of TX; daughters, Diane and husband, Jonah Phillips of Lake City; Dee-Ann Byrge of Oliver Springs, Glenda Dabney of Lake City; sisters, Mary Lou Crawford of Lake City, Della Mae and husband, Rev.
