I agree with the bad Northern drivers statement. For anyone near Detroit, you know what I mean. Jeremy
Hi Jeremy: Drivers here in East TN surely were influenced by you Northerners. <gg> The current fad here is to go through the red light because you were (1) in a hurry and the lights aren't timed right anyway, (2) it turned yellow when you were 100 feet away and that was too close to stop, (3) "it's my turn to go and I'm not waiting through a light", and (4) so, sue me! Saw two wrecks this week already where folks just ran the light. I'm afraid future genealogist will find many early deaths due to traffic accidents when they research this century. Good to see you online and hope you've found some new folks to add to your line. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeremy Carter To: TNANDERS-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, March 09, 2005 5:46 PM Subject: Re: [TNANDERS-L] Re: Cuzn John I agree with the bad Northern drivers statement. Carolyn (and others), I live on Gratiot and 21 Mile, so there is a new accident every week. My aunt works downtown, so I feel for her too. We just got in an accident a couple of months ago on Garfield. Some lady talking on her cell phone wanted to switch lanes and run the light at the same time. Didn't work. Wrecked my dad's Cadillac. So he got a new one. :) Judy, just been watching for a while. Found our Carter line back to 1616, but I haven't looked through the whole website. I found it on Rootsweb. Nice to see you too.
