From The Knoxville News Sentinel 14 Mar 2005 BUNCH, RUBYE INEZ - age 86 of Lake City, formerly of Briceville, TN., FOX, BRUCE T. - age 83 of Powell, TN JACKSON, LENA DEAN GREEN - BUNCH, RUBYE INEZ - age 86 of Lake City, formerly of Briceville, TN., passed away Friday, March 11, 2005 at the Lake City Health Care Center. She was born October 5, 1918 in Anderson County, TN to the late Edd & Savannah Carroll Craig. She attended the First Baptist Church of Briceville faithfully. She enjoyed gardening very much. She is preceded in death by: her husband, John Bunch; and her brother, Claude Gardner. Survivors: son, Craig Bunch, Knoxville. Visitation 6-8 pm Monday, March 14, 2005 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Graveside service 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Circle Cemetery in Briceville, TN, with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements. FOX, BRUCE T. - age 83 of Powell, TN passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2005. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Oliver Springs. After his retirement from Union Carbide in Oak Ridge, he returned to the Fox family farm at Inman Bend, TN, where he pursued his love of farming, gardening, and fishing. He served with honor in the US Army during World War II, earning two Bronze Stars and four Bronze Service Medals during battles in the Pacific. Preceded in death by: his parents, Lafayette (Fate) and Pearl Brady Fox; wife, Mary June Fox; and sister, Helen Londraville. His survivors include: his daughter, Patricia Ann Walls and her husband, Mike of Knoxville; sons, Michael Bruce Fox and Thomas Wayne Fox, both of Powell; grandchildren, Lesley Amber Fox of Charleston, SC and Joseph Arthur Fox of Powell; sister, Ruth Worley of Morristown; brother and sister-in-law, Clay and Joan Fox of Bybee; brother, James Fox of Newport; brother-in-law, Dennis Babb and wife, Nancy; brother-in-law, Claude Londraville; sister- in-law, Helen Babb; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2005 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Kurt Rudd officiating. Graveside interment services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Hamblen Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Died: March 12, 2005 in NHC Nursing Home in Oak Ridge, TN. Lena Jackson was the daughter of the late James F. and Mary Cornelia Green of Water Valley, MS. She was predeceased by: her husband of sixty years, Russell S. Jackson; and a son, William Scott Jackson. Lena had lived for over 40 years at 2383 Oak Ridge Turnpike, where she and her husband owned and operated East Fork Farm and Jackson's Saddlery. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Robertsville Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. Mrs. Jackson is survived by: a son, Russell Dean Jackson and his wife Judy Shearin Jackson, of Jeffersonville, IN; and a daughter, Sue Jackson Hall and her husband Robert D. Hall, of Boiling Springs, SC. Her grandchildren are: R. Brett Jackson, Laura J. Sellers, Amy J. Kopp, Kimberly H. Seay, Kevin R. Hall, and Kelly H. Sepcic. Lena had six great grandchildren: Justin Kopp, Emma Sellers, Grace Sellers, Clare Sellers, Caleb Seay, Madeline Sepcic, Samantha Sepcic, and Emily Hall. A graveside service will be held today, 3 pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Prince officiating. The family requests that memorials be made in the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to Adventa Hospice, 1420 Dutch Valley Rd., Suite C, Knoxville, TN 37918.
