Found this, saw someone discussing it the other day Melissa PROSISE, JASPER "JAP" SEVIER - age 81, of Briceville, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 1998, at his residence. He was born March 15, 1917, in Briceville. He was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran who served in World War II. He was a member of Laurel Branch Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Nancy Ellen Prosise; sisters, Edith Prosise, Reba Smith and Nila Jane Prosise. Survivors: wife, Pauline White Prosise, Briceville; children, Sharon and Roger Nance, Lake City, Gary and Kathy Prosise, Briceville, Rickey and Theresa Prosise, Briceville, Joey Prosise, Lake City, Becky and Abe Wilson, Lake City, Michael Prosise, Lake City, Debbie and J.V. Seiber, Lake City; sisters, Ruby Phillips, Harriman, Bonnie Vandergriff, Powell; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 1998, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with funeral service following a! t 8:30 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Houston Carroll officiating. Interment will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 1998, at Circle Cemetery in Briceville. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements.
