Ron, I am a descendent of William McKendrick Leinart and Mary Ellen Johnson in that my grandmother was Mollie Leinart who married Robert Walker Long. My family are listed in your wonderful works. Do you want to add corrections or is it done? Just thought I would offer. Let me know, then I will add my birthdate and my sister's corrected name. If not, it is not a problem. Also, several people have Mary Ellen Johnson listed as Mary Elizabeth Johnson. Some of the census have one and some the other. Do you know who the parents were for Mary Ellen Johnson? You and the people mentioned have done a wonderful job putting this together. Thank you for all your work. I have been researching the Leinarts , Longs and McKameys for 20 yrs. and still have brick walls, like Samuel Dunn's parents. I really enjoyed seeing the photo section, and seeing my Uncle Sabre Leinart, William McKendrick etd. Hi Ann, Here is the information on Mary Ellen Johnson: 19. William McKendric4 Leinart was born on 15 Feb 1834 at Anderson Co Tennessee. He married Sarah Jane Robbins, daughter of William Robbins and Jane Shinliver, on 5 Nov 1855. He married Mary Ellen Johnson, daughter of John F Johnson and Martha Ann Tunnell, on 11 Jun 1867. Yes, let me know what changes or additions you want to make. I have already given a list to Bud for review and will make the changes to the web site on his approval.
