Hey anyone, I'm searching for William L. Scarbrough, born August 1867 - 1869 (not sure on date). Married Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Huckaby, 22 Sept 1894 in Anderson Co TN. I am trying to find who his parents are and where they are from. Any help would be greatly appreciated very much. Thanks in advance Renee Scarbrough
Renee, I have William L. Scarbrough's date of death 1940. I think I got it from a relative. I have lots of info that is from other people and they gave it to me without documents. It may be that it was in his obit. I have info that lists him buried in the Robbins Cem., Anderson Co., TN. He was a farmer. I do not have his parents accept that I do have another William L. Scarbrough who was b. abt 1895 in Harriman, Roane Co., TN and his parents were John Black Scarbrough and Susan Mary Wells. John Black Scarbrough's parents were Chesley J. Scarbrough 1823-1899 and Sarah Yarnell 1824-1884. Chesley's parents were James Scarbrough 1800-1943 and Anna Rice 1804. James' parent was David Scarbrough, his father was Robert. Robert's father was John Scarbrogh Jr. who came over from England with his father0 That's all I have. Am working in proving some of these things. A lot of my material was handed down. Hope this helps. Ann Scarbrough Perrine On Jan 24, 2008, at 5:35 PM, misstank38@comcast.net wrote: > Hey anyone, > > I'm searching for William L. Hi, My name is Danielle Meyers. I was wondering how much Pyle(s) family information you have? My great grandfather was Paris Pyles though his actual first name was Enoch. His father is listed in the 1880 census as James Pile with wife Elizabeth. I have not been able to trace the Pile or Pyle family before 1880. My great grandfather, Enoch Paris Pyle married my great grandmother, Nancy F. Dake in 1895. He later moved to Knoxville and worked at a marble factory and then died at a young age. Thank you for any information you might have. Have a good week, Danielle Meyers
