I need some help. Sometime between 1911 AND 1920 before the 1920 census a young lady by the name of Callie Mae Wilson passed away. Family history says that she was killed in a car accident. We are not certain where but it is rumored that it was near Briceville. Her parents were Thomas Wilson and Catherine Webb Wilson Cooper. Her step father was Andrew Cooper. She had two brothers, McKinely and Othneil (Ottney) or sometimes called OTT. She also had a large number of half brothers and sisters. John Matt Wilson, Willie Wilson, Alicie Wilson. Cordie Wilson Jordan, Sarah Wilson Rutherford, Julia Wilson Gross, Tom Frank Wilson. Curtis Wilson. Her father had died in 1911 and her motherCatherine remarried Andrew Cooper giving her a large number of step brothers and sisters. Some of these were Buella Cooper Hatmaker, Taylor Cooper and others who were the children oif Elizabeth Moses Cooper and Andrew Cooper. By listing these I am hopeful that someone somewhere will have some information on Calllie. Callie Mae was born in May of 1899 in Campbell County. She was either born in Jacksboro or La Follette. I have searched and searched for information on her death but have found nothing. If anyone has access to the funeral or newspaper records during this time frame and can give me something definite on her death I would be so very thankful. Sincerely, Debbie Wilson Fehr

Blast At Oak Ridge Claims Second Life; Plant Unharmed OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (UP) The second of three men injured in an explosion in Oak Ridge yesterday died today. Stooksbury of Andersonville, Tenn;, died last night. The third victim, G. R. Myers of Oak Ridge, was reported in critical condition. Atomic Energy commission authorities said the explosion, which shook the town of Oak Ridge, originated in a scrap heap of zirconium oxide and zirconium, both non-nuclear materials. Officials emphasized the salvage yard is about a quarter of a mile from an atomic plant which was not damaged. An investigation has begun in the area, which was roped off after the explosion. DETROIT (UP) Frank Hutson, who stabbed his estranged wife to death in a street-corner argument over divorce proceedings, was a police prisoner in Receiving Hospital today. Witnesses told police Hutson, 48, stabbed his 34-year-old wife, Gertrude, outside a drug store where she worked Saturday night. Hutson then slashed his own throat in a suicide attempt. The stabbings were witnessed by the couple's 11-year-old son, Billy, who was selling newspapers on the street. The Hutsons had four other children. Mrs. Helen Harrison, who worked in the drug store with Mrs. Hutson, told police the victim told her "several times she was afraid her husband might do something terrible over the divorce." Relatives said the Hutsons were divorced at Andersonville, Tenn., in 1945 but were remarried before moving to Detroit about a year later. They said the couple had been separated since last April.
