Hi Fay, I was happy for some info regardless if it was strung out or not. Do you know where Gen. P B Burris might be buried at? I know that there isnt a stone for him at the Burris-Gaylor Cemetery or at Harmon-Atkins. I know about where The old Burris Home place was located at just about on the Anderson-Campbell County lines. I am still searching for the town of Parnick in Campbell County! John __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Hi Milley and John I did have a pretty good responds , but I found out was not what I had hope for. Nancy Wallace was a sister to my grand father. And if she is the one we had hope for left in a short time she either died or a divorces or she is not the right one. But things that came out of this, did to another person that we may not have the right last name and my guess is she a Burris not Nancy Elizabeth Kirkpatrick we cant find anything on ether Nancy She is the mother of my dad first wife. I call my niece in Knoxville and ask her who was their grandmother name Helen said Emeline Sharp I ask last name she didnt but thought heard Kirkpatrick so I think is Emeline. It does not matter to me where you put it. In the book of Anderson Co.Historical Sketches by Katherine Baker Hoskin, on page 275, they are talking about the Scarbrough Odd Fellows Organized in 1902. It was a consollidation with Clinton 1924 were Just names are in here but they do have some of your names there is a C. J. Scarbrough, They are talking about the Shiloh Church which was located on a public raod near the F,M. Scarbrough, and had the right away for water from E.C. Scarbrough. Memberes who joined Victory Lodge are listed below and they are T. R.Scarbrough, W.A Scarbrough Harriett Rebekah Lodge there was a J.S. HOLT, Lucile HOLT, Virginia HOLT. I didn't see one Worthington. I don't know what good this will do you except you know they were there. I'm going to forward this to a freind that might be able to help you more & I have 2 more books to look at. Ann, please remind me if I forget something. It would not upset me. I'm upset becasue I told someone I would do something & now I've forgotten what & who.just have to remind me. Back later or tomorrow. I printed you note off so I won't forget. Regards, Phyllis
Maranda Maude Landrum John and Jim, I have a Maranda Maude Landrum, daughter of Thomas Landrum and Lydia Unknown. Is this the same Maranda who married Robert Wallace? Alsio, if you know who Robert's parents were, I'd love to have that also in the event I can tie in to another Wallace line. Thanks so much. Nina
Hello, I've been getting ink from them for about 2 years & so far everything is fine and I had the ink in 3 day's. the name of the co., is 3Inkjet They have a toll free line that's 1-888-465-7765 but get on line @ www.123inkjets.com & they list that will take you to all printers they have ink for & that's a bunch. I always get on line see what I want & then call as I won't use my credit card over the net. The more you buy the cheaper it is. I was paying over $30.00 for one Epson 600 and like one man said to me at a computer store ink is ink. I'd like to learn filling my own and they carry that I think. They also carry toners, laser. Now, Jane we have been pals for about 15 years so if anything goes wrong still be my pal & if they don't give you a good price ( I know they will) just tell them to look under lloyd Peterson account & you have my zip code. I'll be looking for the Peters and mailing them as soon as I can. Love Ya, Phyllis
I sent this the other day but no one responded to it... It say's in the book it's better to let the ink go until it won't print and then refill. Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong. The red light comes on but I just leave it like the book said & but another in when it stops printing. I bet that's my mistake. Thanks Charles, Phyllis
Thanks for the tip & I see you get your from the same place I do. I was shocked to learn that some are paying up to $100.00. I just got 4 cartidge's for $15.00 & they paid the postage. What's funny with mine is that if I don't have the colored cartridge in, the the black won't work & I get nothing. Think I will fool with it today. Thanks, Phyllis
Hi Jim, Okay, I shall await your reply. Also it wasn't uncommon for a fellow to be married in both Campbell County and Anderson County at the same time. Seems like they just failed to get divorced from one of the wife's or in some cases the guy was happily married to two women and kept up both homes. It must of got awful tiring doing all of that horseback riding? Now days you can see how some of these traveling salesmen and truckers can keep up two families, especially when one is on the East Coast and the other is on the West Coast, but some of these fellows had two families living less than twenty miles apart. Yes John, it could be that we are look for a real John and not a Jacob. I don't believe that we have the wrong Nancy Wallace because of the SC at the of her line, thats were her mother was born. I'll get back > jim > From: "Cuz'n John" <johnbats2@yahoo.com> > Date: 2005/02/19 Sat AM 10:54:23 EST > To: TNANDERS-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: Re: [TNANDERS-L] need help > > Hi Jim, > > Would this Mary Burris that married Jacob Sharp > who was a son of Eli Sharp and Sarah A.
