Hello everyone, I ran into a member of the ROOTWALKER family today and told her that the next information we would have on this mail list was about Dickson County. Then, I got home and found that a great deal of the discussion in yesterday's emails was about a community in Dickson County. It looks as if the time is right to do some work in that area. I have in my hands a copy of the Dickson County Marriage Record Book, 1838 - 1848. I will research names in it until you are all satisfied that you need no more information from it. So, if you think you may have someone in your family's past that tied the knot in Dickson County, ask away! Remember that if your kin was in one of the surrounding counties or a county that splintered off Dickson, such as Houston, your family might just be found here.
