Thank you very much for copying these Overton County Court Records. This is a real meaningful breakthrough for me with my Chism branch. Jesse's father's name was reportedly John Chism. I may be confused (more than likely!) but it seems to me that every John Chism I ever found in the history of Tennessee belonged to some other family except mine! Maybe I just haven't been able to distinguish between them---and one little record of one of them might be what I need. Anyway, I'll be anxiously waiting to see the information in the deed books, if you can get them Stan. However it goes, thank you very much for trying and thanks again for those court record reports.
