It seems Gary Norris, the writer, is very much in the hole due to publishing, and I don't want to deter anyone from purchasing this great book! If anyone has ties to Overton County, this book is a MUST HAVE!! Not only does it cover the cemeteries that lie within the present Overton County boundaries, but also those that were at any time in Overton County, including those located in Clay, Fentress, Pickett and Putnam Counties. There is a description of where each cemetery is located, as well as very good maps of each county listed above. For each person (but not all), he also lists additional info including spouse, parents, siblings, etc. Again this book is a MUST HAVE for anyone with ties to Overton County!
