    2. Hello Dee, Would you share the names of your grandparents, especially surnames, please. I am asking this to try to locate an area they may have lived in by using the surnames. Trace creek runs basically east-to-west across most of Humphreys County, starting in the eastern part of the county just a couple of miles west of the Dickson County line and running through Waverly to just north of New Johnsonville, where it joins Kentucky Lake. Old Johnsonville is at the confluence of Trace Creek and the Tennessee River, which is Kentucky Lake. Trace Creek Road runs from McEwen through Waverly to it's end about 1/2 mile southwest of the community of Pursley. Most of this route is with US Hwy. 70 (Broadway of America). Also, could you tell us what community and/or district of Humphreys County your grandparents lived in? That will help narrow down the search, also. The (?) Pike Road you mention may have been renamed or totally abandoned in the 80+ years since the census you found your grandparents on. Can you make out any of the letters in the unidentifiable part of the name of the (?) Pike Road? Thanks, and thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family.
