Hello Jeanne, White Bluff is a community in Dickson County, which is in the ROOTWALKER region. We know the area well. In the 1990 census, White Bluff had a population of 1988 people, but I am certain it has grown quite a bit with the growth of nearby Nashville. If you find the new name of Dorothy, let us know and we will search for her. Have you looked in the nearby communities of Pegram (Cheatham Co.), Burns, or Dickson. You might want to also take a look in the Davidson County area for her. Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. Sincerely, Stan Magnesen ROOTWALKER site/list coordinator ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In a message dated 5/3/01 8:10:42 AM Pacific Daylight Time, RaymondHMillman@email.msn.com writes: > Subj: [ROOTWALKER] White Bluff Tn Dorothy Anderson > Date: 5/3/01 8:10:42 AM Pacific Daylight Time > From: RaymondHMillman@email.msn.com (Raymond Millman) > Reply-to: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com > To: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com > > Hi list, > How big a place is White Bluff Tn? Hi Stan, I did talk to Dorothy today. She is now a White. I plan on meeting with her on my trip. Only 12 days away!! Thanks for the White Bluff info. There is an interesting White Bluff web page with lots of humor and picutres of the town http://blufwatch.tripod.com/ as well as helpful info. The page "You might be from White Bluff if...." is particularly funny if you have small town memories and everyone knowing everyone. Jeanne
