Hey y'all :) I'm fairly new to the list and have to thank my newly discovered cousin Jeanne for telling me about it. It's a great list and my hat is off to Stan and Vanessa for all their hard work. :)) Both of my fathers parents lines are centered in the Cheatham, Robertson, Sumner and Montgomery county areas, but with a few other Rootwalker counties thrown in just for variety. <grin> The primary surnames that I'm working on now, through his mother are: AVERETT, PARDUE and GUPTON. (Although I must say, I don't have to work too hard on the AVERETT name because Jeanne is ! <grin>). Through my daddys father, the surnames I'm working on are PITT, BAGGETT, PORTER, JONES and COOK . There are lots of others that I plan on concentrating on a little later, but you know how it goes... so many names, so little time. I have some info on all of the names, but I can always use more input. I'll be posting some separate messages with my specific appeals for help. :) I do have a few family artifacts and pics, escpecially for the PARDUE line, and I'd be happy to scan and share them. I live in East TN and if any of y'alls roots extend back that way, I'd be happy to do a few lookups in the McMinn, Polk, Meigs county area. Thanks again and be well, Suzanne Pitt P.S.
