Hello everyone, If you were hoping to go to the Tennessee State Library and Archives this coming Saturday, you might want to reschedule that trip for another time. A number of downtown Nashville streets will be closed for the Country Music Marathon that is being held Saturday, April 28, 2001. All streets along the course will be closed by 6am. West End Ave. will be closed from 29th Ave to 25th Ave from 3 to 10 am. Broad will open at about 8am. Belmont and Clifton Lane will open at 10am. Granny White and 12th Ave will open at 10:30 am. The list of street closures goes on and on, so be very sure you really want to walk a ways to get downtown. The folks at TSLA tell me that they are looking forward to an easy day.
