Hi Joyce, Wow! I bet you live around Hendersonville! The communities you mention are all in that area. I am surprised I missed Goshen Town. I have a very good friend that lives close to the junction of Goshentown Road and Center Point Road. Forest Retreat is a subdivision, I believe, in the area of Shackle Island, between Center Point Road and Shackle Island Road, north of Vietnam Veterans Blvd. Free Hill is part of the Rockland community of Sumner County. The historical marker you mention is at Rockland on Nashville Pike at Free Hill Road. I wonder if those people could have seen the drive-in theater (when it wasn't flooded). This area was annexed into Hendersonville in 1993, I believe. Frogtown. In Sumner County? You have me on that one! Could you let us know where it is? I will note it on my Sumner County maps if you will. Thanks for letting us know of the communities missed on the list I posted. I was certain that some communities would be missed when I listed them, which is why I said "Most" communities in the counties. Keep up the good work! Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. My hometown is in Sumner County also, but it is tooo!!!!! small, *giggle* a church and a cross-roads. Hollis Chapel has no post office, no red lights, no people(except Sundays). __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get email at your own domain with Yahoo!
