Robert met Susan GOLD of Montgomery Co. when she was staying with relatives in Davidson or Sumner Co. They married in Mont Co. and remained there. MACON CO/SMITH CO FEATHERSTONE (beginning with Henry b abt1740 VA who was married to Elizabeth MARSHALL. They moved to Smith Co about 1805. Thru their daughter Sarah FEATHERSTONE HARDIE. HARDIE (beginning with Thomas L. HARDIE b1796VA who moved to Smith Co about 1818. UNKNOWN wife of Thomas L. HARDIE. She died between the birth of their last child Amanda in 1846 and the 1850 census of Macon Co. This Mrs. HARDIE is my BRICK WALL.
