    1. [ROOTWALKER] ROARK family.
    2. Good morning Melody! It's a beautiful day! I hope yours is as great. I didn't mention your name, but thought you would see the ROARK posting and speak up. I didn't know if you and Jimmie were in contact or not, but hoped you would make contact with each other. I am strongly suspicious that the old cemetery we found was the cemetery for the Puncheon Camp Baptist Church. If it is, we know the whereabouts of the ROARK homes, as William and Asa both donated land for the church. Also, it appears as if their landholdings possibly straddled the state line. This would explain the confusion about which state a child would be born in. I know of one case where a farm house straddled a county line and the children got to go to either county to school. Melody, Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. Sincerely, Stan Magnesen ~~~~~~~~~~~~ In a message dated 4/25/01 8:33:33 AM Pacific Daylight Time, oh_stop_it@hotmail.com writes: > Subj: Re: [ROOTWALKER] ROARK family. > Date: 4/25/01 8:33:33 AM Pacific Daylight Time > From: oh_stop_it@hotmail.com (Melody Carter) > Reply-to: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com > To: TN-ROOTWALKER-L@rootsweb.com > > > Stan, > > I want to thank you for posting this information to the entire list.
