    2. Hello Raymond, There is one SAVAGE family member shown in the Jackson County Ranger Book. The entry is not about Robert H. SAVAGE, but about a William SAVAGE. Here is the entry: ********** " Taken up by Wm. SAVAGE one dark bay horse. Saddle spots on each side. His off hind foot white, a star in his forehead and snip on his nose. Appraised to $25.00. 7 Feb. 1824. 23 Nov. 1824, ran away from the taker up sworn to before D. Poindexter whichprobate is filed in this office. ********** There is no location given for this entry.
