Good morning, I am having lunch today with one of the Melton's from Smithville in DeKalb County. I am going to present this question about the cemetery to him and see if he can answer you on it. Also, I think the state of Tennessee would relocate the graves if they moved a known cemetery. Currently, there are three cemeteries just east of Smithville on Hwy 70. The farthest of the three is the Adcock Cemetery. All three are farther east of Smithville than Curtis Road, which may be the location the cemetery was in. Thanks for being part of the ROOTWALKER family. Stan: I am following up to see if Mr. Melton has been successful in obtaining any information on the Curtis Cemetery, just outside of Smithville, TN.
