Hi List, I need to locate info on a death that may have occured at Ft. Campbell during WWII This is the little info I have to go on: Kenneth JACOBS was an MP at Ft. Campbell, attacked and killed while transporting a prisoner. Death possibly occurred in time range from March through July (possibly Aug) of 1944. I want to check this out while in TN. I planned on looking through old newspapers but that's alot of papers. Any other ways to find out if this happened? Would Ft. Campbell have easy access to a database of police killed on duty, as our police departments do? I would appreciate any hints on how to best find this out. That is all the info I have on Kenneth JACOBS, possibly his family was from KY. Thanks, Jeanne
