Hello Robertson County, TN researchers! We have gotten a copy of a supplement to the Springfield, Tennessee City Directory of 1935. It contains a Classified Business Directory and a Numerical Telephone Directory for the town of Springfield. The Directory does not have telephone listings for people who lived in the county, just those city folk. No street addresses are given, just names and telephone numbers for individuals. This makes a really neat addition to our growing library of research materials. Stan

Dear Stan, My grandfather, Frank Clayton BRIDGES, [Sr] owned & operated his own insurance agency in Springfield in 1935. Unfortunately, I never asked my parents the name of the agency, (and my grandfather died that year at the young age of 46.)
