They are listed on the 1850 Macon County census as follows: 1850 Macon County, TN Census p343, 457/457 Madison East, age 20, b. TN Mary E., age 20, b. KY Sina, age 1, b. TN Daughter Sina married Asa Walter Roark. Sina's death record from Alexander Funeral Home lists her parents as Madison East and Mary Lee. Mary's surname was given as "Lee". Sina and Asa are buried in the Stinson-Roark Cemetery in Allen County, KY. A. W. Roark - 19 Apr 1839 to 29 Mar 1907 Sina (East) Roark - 18 Feb 1849 to 2 Feb 1934 Is there anyone on the list who is researching the Madison East/Mary Lee family and knows where Madison and Mary are buried and their dates? Also, would like to know if there is a record that exists that lists Mary's parents names as Joseph Lee and Mary Siddens of Monroe County, KY. These are my husband's folks. Jimmie Meadors

Jimmie, Here are the 1880 Census entries in MiddleTn for East in case you didn't have these: Macon Co EAST, John J. C 17, M73 Joseph S, 27 M72 Mattison, 50 M72 Patterson, 56 M73 Some other EASTs in other counties: EAST, A. A. male 47, Davidson Part 1-155 Edward, 47 Davidson part 1-117 Hughey, 22 Clay 268 There is one entry for a LEE, Judy age 65 Macon 11. She would be old enough to be Mary's mother. Maybe you can locate something on her that might say if she had children. Maybe Mary's mother moved to TN. On my Coakley brick wall, I've started tracking any Coakley info in Tn to build up a data base of families. I hope this info might help you in some way.
