Hi. I use FTM, too. But I had a big computer problem and lost everything. To top it off, my backup disks were corrupted and I couldn't restore. Now I use the FTM to organize information, then I print it up and don't worry about it any more. ------------------------------ On Sat, 7 Apr 2001 01:28:38 EDT wandas915@aol.com writes: > I use the binder system as well. I also am in the process of getting all of my information in binders. I do use the PAF system but since I lost it once when my computer failed I do not use it as my main way of keeping important stuff like my genealogy. Right now I start with the oldest generation and work down to the youngest generation. I am wondering if this is the correct way. My family data is not so much the problem as the data I pick up on same family names which might eventually tie in. I feel compelled to save it just in case it ties in later. So I have several binders full of this. One for each family name.
