The following information is from a Clarksville paper dated Mon. Aug. 21, 1939. Agnes Schmittou died on Sat., Aug. 19, 1939. She was born in Dickson County on Mar. 28, 1871. She was the daughter of Francis and Nancy Pott Schmittou. Surviving are one son, Ray Batson of Detroit; two brothers, Pete Schmittou of Rossview community, and Charles of Paris, Tenn., and two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Dickson of Vanleer, Tenn., and Mrs. Virgie Thompson of Dickson County. Her husband died in 1919. It doesn't say which husband died in 1919. I have Burney Batson's birth as July 23, 1878 and his death in 1925. By the way Ray Batson (full name - Louis Ray Batson) is my father. Are we cousins? Dianna Batson Forster
