Mr. John Cherry is extremely helpful to all Cherry researchers and the most knowledgable of anyone that I know about that family. I am related to the Cherry family from Stewart Co. TN. Henry Co. is next to Stewart Co. so there may be some connections back at some point in time. The person that I know that has the most Cherry family information available is John H. Cherry PO Box 633597 Nacogdoches, TX 75963-3597 email: [email protected] He publishes a newsletter called "The Cherry Cousins' Clearinghouse". It comes out quarterly and he asks $15/year donation to help with his costs. He has more than 40,000 names in his database and he puts in all the Cherry family names that he gets in the hopes of eventually linking them up. He does like to receive and know documentation for his material. I sent him some information which conflicted with material given to him by someone else. I had the documentation which I sent to him and he very happily changed his information to match mine. I would strongly suggest that anyone contact him with their information about the Cherry family if they have questions.
