Dear Dianna, You are welcome! There is a problem with the death date for Zachariah. If he died in 1880, there was no time for Hattie, Stewart and Vmist to be born, as only Burney Z is shown in the 1880 census. I would suspect that maybe 1888 would more likely be correct, but that is conjecture based on the known data. And Vmist ???? Yeah, I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut that something is awry with that name! Maybe it was Venus or something like that? I'll let you know if anything new or exciting pops up on the Batsons. I might add, in the 1880 census, I ran across a Batson in the Montgomery County census that was born in Ireland, so there may be a lot of unrelated (or very distantly) related Batson's in that area.
